The Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) programme is a three-year undergraduate course designed to provide students with a strong foundation in legal principles and judicial processes. The curriculum covers important areas such as Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Civil Law, Family Law, Contract Law, Corporate Law, Environmental Law, Human Rights, and Intellectual Property Law.Students receive practical training through moot court exercises, legal drafting, internships, case study analysis, legal aid activities, and court visits, enabling them to develop professional competence and advocacy skills required for successful legal practice.
The Master of Laws (LL.M.) programme is a two-year postgraduate course designed for law graduates seeking advanced knowledge and specialization in legal studies. The programme emphasizes legal research, analytical thinking, academic excellence, and professional development.Students engage in research projects, seminars, workshops, dissertations, and advanced legal studies that prepare them for careers in academia, judiciary, legal consultancy, corporate law, research organizations, and public service.
The Research Cell at KIMS Law College promotes a culture of academic inquiry, innovation, and scholarly excellence. It encourages both faculty and students to undertake meaningful legal research addressing contemporary legal issues and emerging challenges.The Research Cell organizes seminars, conferences, workshops, legal research programmes, and publication activities that strengthen analytical thinking and research capabilities.
