Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)

The LL.B. programme is a three-year undergraduate course designed to provide comprehensive knowledge of the Indian legal system. The curriculum includes Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Civil Law, Family Law, Contract Law, Corporate Law, Environmental Law, Human Rights, Labour Law, and Intellectual Property Rights. Students also gain practical experience through moot court sessions, legal drafting, case studies, internships, and court visits.
Duration: 3 Years

Master of Laws (LL.M.)

The LL.M. programme is a two-year postgraduate course intended for graduates seeking advanced legal education and specialization. The programme emphasizes legal research, analytical thinking, academic writing, and contemporary legal developments while preparing students for careers in teaching, research, judiciary, corporate practice, and public service.
Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility Criteria

LL.B.

Candidates seeking admission to the LL.B. programme must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum qualifying marks: General Category – 45% OBC Category – 42% SC/ST Category – 40%
  • Admission is based on a valid TG LAWCET rank.

LL.M.

Candidates applying for the LL.M. programme should have:

  • An LL.B. Degree from a recognized university.
  • A valid TG PGLCET rank for admission.

Admission Process

Admissions are conducted through the counselling process prescribed by the Telangana State authorities.

1. Appear for the Entrance Examination

Eligible candidates should appear for TG LAWCET (for LL.B.) or TG PGLCET (for LL.M.).

Qualified candidates must register for the counselling process and complete the required formalities.

Select KIMS Law College, Karimnagar during the web option entry.

Seats are allotted based on merit, reservation policy, and counselling guidelines.

Candidates should produce all original certificates for verification.

Pay the prescribed tuition fee and complete the admission formalities within the stipulated time.

Report to KIMS Law College with all required documents and begin your academic journey.

The tuition fee is prescribed by the Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee and is subject to revision by the competent authorities.
